This is proof of the earliest snow in Houston history, somewhere along Beltway 8 near Pearland. Naturally I am driving in these wonderful conditions, headed to College Station so I can freeze my cans off in the morning. The drive was surprisingly smooth for Houston, with no real delay on 290 at 4, which is in and of itself remarkable.
As always, snow is only fun when you don't have to go anywhere, which of course is not the case today. We did safely make it to College Station. The bad weather stopped around Cypress, sun came out, and a very nice drive was had from there.
Went to the Aggie Basketball game tonight. So many of the girls wearing the Ug-ly boots, a few in rain boots, and 1 in North Face boots. All ridiculous. And Reed Arena was hot. But nice win.
I just wish I could have rocketed off a snowball at someone.
