Ah the wonderful 7 train. This is a picture from my first trip on the 7, as we make our way to La Guardia. Little did I know or even suspect that I would soon be regularly traveling on this train to La Guardia, as well Shea on occasion.
Here we are going through Queens. We were returning from New Haven, where we attended the College Knights conference. Great conference. The white elephant went well, with the pitchers getting passed down repeatedly, and repeatedly filling them with beer. Sweet, sweet beer. They had some great pizza there as well, if I recall.
A priest tapped the new keg for us, the West Point boys couldn't hold their own with the Aggies. What more do you want?
We roamed around New York for a bit on the way back, dropping all of our luggage off at a Marriott by Grand Central. A good tip made sure that wasn't going to be any sort of problem.
I don't remember that many more things about that weekend. I do know I went drinking upon arrival back in the Station.
Rocker was a moron, 7 is a great train.
